The School Age Director is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the daily operations of the School Age site. Responsible for staff supervision, coordinating activities that meet the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development of each individual child as well as maintain a safe and healthy environment for all in our program.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum age of 18.
  2. Minimum of AAS Degree including ECE, Elem. Ed, Child Dev., Special Ed., or Human Resource Field of Studies with 3 years experience.
  3. Certifications: Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED and Pediatric First Aid.
  4. Strong Leadership and Communication Skills.
  5. Must like working with children.
  6. A commitment to continuous quality program improvements.
  7. Completion of required trainings.
  8. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  1. Able to lift and carry 15-50 pounds
  2. Sufficient strength, agility and mobility to perform essential functions of position and to safely supervise children’s activities.
  3. Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards
    related to the activity.
