Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLandscapers Depot an Outdoor Living Supply company located in Kingston, NH, is looking for a seasonal full-time CDL A Driver. The ideal applicant enjoys variety in their daily work schedule such as driving and delivering product to customers, and helping load product for delivery. This seasonal full-time position is for someone who enjoys working outside, helping customers, and loading trucks.

The right candidate will have the ability to load and deliver product in a safe professional manner. Some work is performed outside operating small front-end loaders, forklifts and loading equipment and providing support to the customer service team when needed.

This position offers a competitive hourly wage depending on qualifications and experience and a full benefits program with PTO and paid holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the product in a safe professional and timely manner
  • Loading and unloading the truck per the delivery schedule
  • Organizing warehouse and landscape supply yard
  • Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and warehouse
  • Maintain the company truck which includes keeping it clean, knowing when the maintenance is due
  • Organize, planning and prioritizing daily work
  • Operating machinery such as propane forklift
  • Daily inspection of the truck (pre and post-trip inspections) per DOT regulations

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Current and Valid Class A CDL license
  • Forklift and equipment operation experience is a plus
  • Basic Math skills
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be 18 years of age

Other Skills and Abilities

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to routinely lift 50 - 75 lbs. without assistance
  • Able to climb up and down from the bed of the truck
  • Ability to access engine compartment for checking fluids and inspection
  • Standing/walking often
  • Stooping/bending often

Work Environment:

This position primarily works outdoors in the yard and are exposed to the elements. Conditions can be dusty due to the product we sell.

Seasonal Full-time

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Saturday
  • Day shift hours
  • Weekend availability is shared with others
