Job Responsibilities:

  • Review, research and organize documents as they relate to the department.
  • Perform check matching.
  • Archive invoices and checks in the appropriate files.
  • Ensure accuracy of online and physical documentation filing and organization.
  • Implement more efficient filing practices.
  • Balance accounts payable ledger at the end of each month
  • Generate reports
  • Issue payments/electronic fund disbursements
  • Maintain vendor information
  • Code invoices with correct account code before entering
  • Collect all necessary signatures pertaining to invoices before entering
  • Examine invoices for correct charges
  • Gather receiving information to verify invoiced amounts
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Basic math skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel is a must)
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills oral and written
