Hello Jubilee is in search of a Creative Ideator who has a strong passion for YouTube, storytelling, and new show development The Creative Ideator will lead the charge in pitching and developing new show formats for our Jubilee channel - ensuring that all of our new releases are digitally savvy and aligned with our mission of provoking understanding and creating human connection. The ideal person is a master storyteller with a creative point of view

The Job

As the Creative Ideator, you will tackle the important role of developing new show concepts for our audience of 8.8+ million subscribers We are excited for this person to come in with their unique pov to craft new and refreshing ways to have the impactful conversations that ultimately are the heart of our channel. You’ll brainstorm with our team of creatives to come up with top-performing content featuring real people and their stories. You’ll also collaborate with our Production and Post Production teams to bring your creative vision to life

What You’ll Do

  • Understand Jubilee’s mission and vision, developing a deep understanding of what works on our channel and why
  • Lead strategic conversations around show & episode creation; providing input and recommendations around what will increase the performance of a show
  • Pitch, develop, and create new shows that are both missionally aligned and digitally relevant
  • Collaborate with internal and external Directors to strengthen new concepts or episodes for existing formats 
  • Brainstorm ideas for wider-scale versions of our existing formats
  • Collaborate with our Casting department to identify opportunities to partner with and feature rising talent in our videos
  • Work with our Brand Partnerships team to come up with exciting ideas for branded content
  • Own our idea bank - continually filtering and identify potential new releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the performance of each aspect of our content: packaging, editing, casting and topics
  • Lead company-wide brainstorming sessions with our internal team 
  • Inspire and motivate our team of creatives to push the boundaries of ideation and to create high performing digital content 

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in Youtube development or ideation
  • You have the unique ability to generate big, new show concepts & processes, but also focus on continuous improvement of existing formats & processes
  • You are are a bold thinker; fearless in your methods of developing engaging, mission driven content that will speak to young audiences
  • Fluent in performance analytics and able to leverage past performance data to understand what kind of content will resonate with our audience
  • You are passionate about creator culture and up to date with the latest trends and creative strategies that are being used by the biggest channels on YT
  • Director or Producer experience is a big plus
  • You excel at being collaborative, flexible, and agile in your creative pursuits
  • Comfortable utilizing Google Suite, Slack, Asana, Frame.io or other similar software
