JOB SUMMARY: The Quotes Coordinator is an entry level position that reports to the Program Management Manager and assists the Senior Quotes Coordinator with timely processing of customer quotes. This position also helps with electronic quote processing which requires analytical thinking, strong organizational skills, and must pay close attention to details. Must have excellent communication skills as this role interacts directly with customers and company management.

This position requires the use of information that is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and /or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quote administration to include review of document package from Customers for completeness
  • Organizing and filing of documentation package, including BOM, Assembly Drawings and technical files
  • Customer BOM conversions to QuoteFX format using Excel
  • Coordinating the transfer of required information to the Material Quotes Associates & Account Managers
  • Data Entry of completed cost analysis to ERP system for final quote review and generation
  • Maintenance of various reports and files
  • Other duties and/or special projects may be assigned as required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Has the ability to compile work in a timely fashion
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills required
  • Must be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can proactively resolve problems
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work independently to achieve objectives with minimal supervision
  • Able to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines

SPECIAL TRAINING/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ability to manipulate/convert different files types (Excel, Word, PDF, etc.) to standardized formats

COMPUTER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • ERP software familiarity and overall excellent computer skills as other software packages may be used
