FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER – Competitive Pay (Marrietta, GA)

Join our client, as the Field Production Manager in a family-owned, fast-growth commercial painting company, with a great culture. Base salary is negotiable based on candidate experience.  Must live commuting distance to Marietta, GA.  

We are seeking a driven and hard-working construction leader professional who may have some commercial construction experience, preferably in painting. If you like learning, want to grow, are a self-motivated high-performer, then this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity

Duties/Responsibilities:

Using your field construction management and project management capabilities, you will:

  • Manage all company processes and field work flow with customers
  • Manage ongoing communication between office, field, and customers 
  • Ensure Safety is kept as top priority and follows the company's Safety Manual
  • Maintain quality standards for all projects
  • Be organized with all paperwork, and exhibit strong time management
  • Produce and keep track of daily, weekly and monthly work schedules for all projects
  • Be aware of Production capacity at all times. 
  • Review contracts and scope of work with Estimators and help set job schedule. 
  • Anticipate and execute schedule changes daily, as needed 
  • Supervise and give regular and consistent feedback on performance to employees and Sub crews. 
  • Receive job folders and understand the scope of work and schedule; answer any questions employees or Subs may have. 
  • Organize with the Crew Leader what paint and materials are needed for the project. 
  • Order materials and paint for jobs as needed (as a back up to Crew Leaders Subcontractors). 
  • Keep accurate records of how all jobs are going; compile job tracking information. 
  • Make sure all touch ups are done according to the touch up and warranty processes. 
  • Advise management as requested on field related issues

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Field Construction Management Experience
  • Expert Safety Protocols
  • Some understanding of painting products
  • Ability to move and use ladders and power equipment; i.e., sprayers, power washers, etc. 
  • Experience in setting up job procedures and managing field systems.
  • Strong customer service approach with clients
  • Ability to build and manage a team of field supervisors/General Contractors
