Busy property management is looking to hire a ROCKSTAR Head of Leasing to join our team at our beautiful 200+ unit property on the west side of Indianapolis.

Ideal candidate should enjoy sales, networking, and have a passion for getting people into their new home. This position presents an opportunity with a tremendous bonus package Candidates MUST have leasing experience, including working with the Indiana Housing Authority, negotiating with prospective tenants, networking with referral sources and great people skills.  Candidates must be able to present our community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to customer’s need by communicating features and benefits to close the sale. Prior lease-up experience a PLUS Spanish speaking candidates should apply.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing the features and amenities of our rental properties.

- Network with community groups, rental programs, and other referral sources.

- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and in-person visits.

- Qualify potential tenants by reviewing rental applications, conducting credit and background checks, and verifying income.

- Negotiate lease terms and rental agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.

- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections and documenting property conditions.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective tenants to ensure high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction.

- Collaborate with property management team to develop and implement effective leasing strategies and marketing campaigns.

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

- Proven experience in leasing or sales, preferably in the real estate industry.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with leasing laws and regulations is a plus.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.

- Spanish language is a plus
