Leasing Specialist

As a Leasing Specialist at Sweetgrass Landing Apartments, you will work at a fast pace to lease apartment homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver exceptional after-sales service to meet the ongoing needs of existing residents.

Most Important Responsibilities

• Review contacts and leads to put yourself in a position to lease as many apartments as possible.
• Tour the community with prospects, highlighting the features and benefits of living there.
• Plan and organize resident events to increase engagement.
• Social media marketing to brand your community.
• Develop relationships with residents and future residents.
• Collaborate with your team to manage the day-to-day operations.
• Understand the unique needs of your customers to determine the best solution.

Most Important Qualifications

• Leasing experience preferred, or hospitality and customer service.
• Ability to sell in a competitive market.
• Self-motivation and drive. Quick on your feet with a strong work ethic.
• Resilience and tenacity. Rejection is a very real part of the job; however, you can’t get discouraged.
• People skills. Ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs, so you can build rapport and trust.
• Charisma. Must be likeable to prospects and residents.
• Empathy. Relating to the customers and supporting them.
• Confidence. Never let go of opportunities and stay positive.
