Floating Leasing Specialist

Position: Leasing Specialist Floater – Primarily Mount Pleasant and Charleston, SC

Role Overview

As a Leasing Floater in this region, your primary focus is to lease luxury apartment homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver exceptional customer service to meet the ongoing needs of current residents and plan monthly social events.

Successful candidates must be open-minded and flexible with scheduling, versatility is key. Although this position is based in the general Charleston/Mount Pleasant area, this individual might be asked to help in other regions as needed (i.e. Pooler, GA & Bluffton, SC). Additionally, this position will require 3 Saturdays per month.

Most Important Responsibilities

• Prepare endlessly and sift through contacts and leads to put yourself in a position to lease as many apartments as possible.
• The discipline to follow up. Consistent follow-ups are one of the most valuable acts for anyone in a sales role.
• Be politely persistent. Don’t take no for an answer.
• Product knowledge. Understand our product and be able to articulate its value.
• Develop relationships. Build and manage a portfolio of relationships.
• Collaborate with your team. Understand the unique needs of prospects and residents to determine the best solution.

Most Important Qualifications

• Leasing experience required. Ability to sell at the high market rate.
• Self-motivation and drive, solid track record in a busy office.
• Creativity to conceptualize and conduct resident events on a regular basis.
• Resilience and tenacity to keep pushing for the best outcome.
• People skills with residents, prospects and coworkers.
• Willing to travel to other regions as necessary.
• Ability to work 3 Saturdays per month.
