Role Description – Women’s Ministry Director – part time 29 hours
Women’s Ministry Director Overview
As a member of the Adult Discipleship team, the Women’s Ministry Director will have a heart for women of all stages of life and faith, and have a passion to help them connect with God in community.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Previous experience helping women of all ages, backgrounds and journeys walk through significant life situations.
- Experience planning and running large-scale events and project management.
- Capable and comfortable leading in large group settings.
- Able to organize and lead teams (meetings, delegation).
- Strong attention to detail required.
- Teaching experience preferred.
Personal
- Mature in her faith and walks intimately with God.
- Passionate about ministry, willing to sacrifice for the good of others.
- Known to live a life of integrity, able to maintain confidentiality.
- Eager to learn and grow.
- Relationally mature.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all-employee and department development and connection. (5 hours)
- Leadership
- Serve as the point-person for shepherding women and helping them take next steps. (10 hours)
- Work with the AD staff in identifying and developing leaders. (7 hours)
- Coordination
- Event planning and team leadership to help women connect in community (7 hours)
