Job Description

Brookwood Church is seeking a skilled Worship Pastor/Director to lead our NextGen worship ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Pastor Next Gen, Worship Pastor, Student Pastor/Director, and Children's Pastor/Director to design and deliver worship experiences that align with Brookwood Worship strategy.
  • Oversee worship volunteers, including recruitment, training, and discipleship.
  • Lead volunteers serving the Student Ministry worship/production team through regular meetings and trainings.
  • Support Main Stage worship and special events as needed.
  • Lead worship and oversee NEXTGEN interns and NextGen Worship Resident.
  • Perform administrative duties, including payroll, PTO, and email communication with volunteers and parents.

Requirements:

  • Called by God
  • Spiritually Mature
  • Godly Character – respectable; self-controlled; generous; honorable
  • Seeking personal spiritual growth and encourage growth in others
  • Experience with leading contemporary worship
  • Strong music background, ability to play multiple instruments preferred
  • Experience directing audio and technical staff
  • Previous experience working with students and adults
  • Experience with music related hardware and software, such as Ableton Live, Planning Center
  • Leadership skills
  • People coordination, delegation, and motivational skills
  • Strong Creative Skills (i.e., Music, Drama, Art, Video Clips, etc.)
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Development and Performance Management:

  • Formal performance reviews will be held once a year
  • Training and development will be determined with Supervisor
