Fuel Technician – SYGMA – Dallas Ft. Worth, TX

Vector Fleet Management, LLC is an American based, privately held company that has been in the fleet maintenance business for over 30 years. Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S.

Vector Fleet Management is currently looking for an experienced Fuel Technician to join our team in support of our customer’s fleet located in Dallas Ft. Worth, Texas.

The schedule for this position is Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00am-3:30pm.


SUMMARY

Dispenses fuel into customers equipment located at a designated fuel island station. Perform basic mechanical inspections and tire assessments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; other duties may be assigned.

  • Checks fuel levels and pumps fuel into vehicles as needed
  • Checks vital fluid levels on equipment such as engine oil, coolant and hydraulic oil
  • Greases specified lubrication points on equipment as required
  • Checking tire conditions on the fleet
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment. Including but not limited to cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas

QUALIFICATIONS

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of one (1) year related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in mechanical fields of automotive, industrial equipment.
  • General knowledge of Heavy Equipment functions and systems


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license required
