This position will primarily operate in Jackson and Vinton counties.


 

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Generate leads and support our SOERN within a tri-county area (Ross, Jackson, Vinton) to enhance employers EAP and HR programs.
  2. Maintains a current working knowledge of all Agency programs, including eligibility requirements, and can effectively communicate this information to customers.
  3. Arrange and coordinate meetings with potential businesses and clients. 
  4. Coordinate and attend area events.
  5. Performs all duties to ensure programs remain in compliance with all Federal and State Performance Standards.
  6. Other duties as assigned by the Community Services Director and Executive Director. 

 

 

Skills/Abilities:

 

  1. Energetic, self-starter with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding goals
  2. Must be able to communicate both orally and written in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
  3. Strong problem-solving abilities.
  4. You must be able to conduct yourself professionally in all situations.
  5. Sensitive to the issues of low-income persons, as well as children, older adults, and physically and mentally challenged individuals.

 

Education/Experience:

 

  1.  High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  2.  Associate degree in a related field (preferred)
  3.  Previous marketing and program development experience (preferred)
  4.  Previous experience utilizing technology to generate and create development leads. (preferred)
  5.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. 

 

Physical/Employment Requirements: 

 

  1.  Pass pre-employment screenings. 
  2.  Must have reliable transportation and insurance under the agency insurance policy.
