Job Description: The Defense Health Agency (DHA) in Falls Church, VA, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide oversight and strategic planning support in various critical areas. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) processes, particularly in healthcare management, cost analysis, data quality management, and program management. The Project Manager will contribute to the standardization of Military Health System (MHS) cost allocation methodologies and ensure that managerial cost accounting and healthcare workload data are accurate, consistent, and auditable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide program management oversight and strategic planning support for the Health Affairs Per Member/Per Month (PM/PM) Methodology.
  • Contribute to the standardization of MEPRS (Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System) policies, procedures, and business practices.
  • Integrate and report healthcare workload, personnel, and managerial cost accounting data using standardized and auditable business rules.
  • Manage and improve business processes within the Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi).
  • Perform data analysis and web development to support program goals.
  • Facilitate working groups and manage publication issuance.
  • Ensure the successful integration of systems such as the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), MHS GENESIS (Enterprise Electronic Health Record EHR), and workload files for the Expense Assignment System (EAS) reporting.

About You: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of program management experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • A professional certification from a relevant industry (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Fellow, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), Comptroller, etc.).
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience utilizing the following systems:
    • General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
    • Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi)
    • MHS GENESIS (Enterprise Electronic Health Record EHR)
    • Workload files for the Expense Assignment System (EAS) reporting
  • Master's degree in sciences or business administration.
