Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur clinic is looking for a caring mental health therapist dedicated to providing the best possible therapeutic service to our patients. You'll be in charge of doing diagnostic evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans with goals and objectives, offering crisis intervention when needed, and following up with patients to ensure they're getting the best care possible. The ideal applicant will have 1-3 years of clinical experience treating mental health patients and a current LMHC license (licensed mental health counselor). $50 - $75 hourly based on billing

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients’ circumstances on a regular basis and provide necessary follow-up care
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need
  • Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members
  • Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans with goals and objectives

  • Conduct and interpret psychological evaluations for clients and their families
  • Provide counseling and psychotherapy services to achieve treatment goals, reduce symptoms, and improve functioning
Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted state license as an LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) or equivalent
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Requires CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
  • Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting
  • Independent licensure or close to sitting for exam - LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PSYD, etc.
  • Must have at least a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Clinical Psychology
