National Account Manager

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development:· Conduct research to build a pipeline of potential customers in various industries, cities, and states· Proactively reach out to prospects through cold calls, emails, and in person meetings· Develop a strong understanding of the company's fleet rental offerings and value proposition to effectively communicate benefits to potential clients· Proactively prospect and meet with clients in their office settingsRelationship Management:· Build and maintain strong relationships with mid-market clients, acting as their main point of contact for all fleet rental inquiries· Conduct needs analysis to understand clients' specific requirements and challenges· Offer customized fleet solutions that align with clients' business goals and maximize value for their organizations· Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire sales cycleSales Strategy and Execution:· Collaborate with the sales team and execute comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets· Collaborate with the Sales Manager and other team members to create sales plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities· Present and demonstrate fleet solutions to potential clients, addressing their questions and concerns effectively· Meet and exceed all sales activity targetsSales Pipeline Management:· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the Salesforce system· Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closure of dealsCollaboration:· Collaborate with the Account Manager and Operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for clientsOther duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook · Ability to communicate in a professional manner when dealing with employees, vendors, customers and company contacts· Motivated self-starter with the ability to perform the above duties with little supervision· Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment along with organization under expected timelines· Team-player who works well with all internal departments
Education and/or Experience · Bachelor’s Degree· 2-3 years of Customer service experience · 5-7 years of Sales experience · Good organizational and time-management skills· Salesforce CRM Experience a plus· Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook About Summit FleetSummit Fleet understands that the need for fleet and fleet management services are continuously changing.
