Staff Accountant - Exciting Opportunity in Hospitality Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage monthly financial statements and journal entries
  • Handle property tax returns and transient tax filings
  • Generate and oversee financial statements for multiple companies
  • Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Lead audit preparations and tax work paper compilations
  • Manage accounts payable across multiple properties

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of SAGE100 is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Adept at managing pressure and meeting deadlines

*Preferred: Experience in the hospitality industry & Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance in previous roles
