Position Summary:
The Dental Services Organization Manager at the College of Dental Medicine is responsible for supporting academic and clinical purchasing operations, with a focus on managing student rotations at remote clinical sites. This role requires a highly organized individual who can set priorities and independently manage conflicting deadlines.
The manager works closely with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and community partners to ensure the smooth execution of clinical rotations, which are vital for providing essential oral health care and enriching students' educational experiences. This position is key to maintaining the quality and success of the College’s externship programs, ensuring they meet the high standards of Roseman University’s commitment to community health.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with community sites, external entities, and the University Business Office to manage program operations, events, contracts, and reimbursements.
- Oversee the submission of student credentials, travel arrangements, and ensure compliance with accreditation and travel policies.
- Manage data collection, budgeting, and financial transactions, including invoicing and credit card reconciliation.
- Design and develop departmental communications, including newsletters, and plan preceptor awards and calibration events.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director of Externship, providing recommendations and updates on program operations and travel spending analysis.
