Are you the Engagement Specialist - Rapid Access - STEP VA we're looking for?

To excel as an Engagement Specialist at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling, along with at least one year of experience in case management services. A valid Virginia Driver's License is essential for this role, as it may require travel to meet with clients and connect them with necessary resources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial to effectively engage with a diverse client population and build rapport. The ability to assess client needs, identify barriers to treatment, and provide appropriate referrals is key to promoting positive outcomes.
