Job DescriptionJob DescriptionApply with us today for a 1st shift, permanent warehouse opportunity in Manheim, PA Our client is looking for a reliable warehouse associate to join their team The Warehouse Associate will create a customer focus by performing all warehousing duties (pick/pack, ship, receive, and replenish).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ability to organize, maneuver and pack various size boxes
  • Properly label and store outgoing LTL shipments
  • Ability to securely package finished goods for shipment
  • Assemble containers on pallets and secure using banding and stretch wrap
  • Physically ship domestic parcel shipments
  • Look up and communicate tracking information
  • Must participate in regular cycle count program
  • Physically ship international parcel shipments
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages
  • Routes incoming items to proper departments
  • Works independently to schedule and monitor LTL shipments
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of carrier pickups
  • Follow up with carriers regarding customer questions including but not limited to: tracking, delivery, and rates
  • Quote, work with appropriate carriers and run reports on carrier websites
  • Uses ERP System for deliveries and incoming receipts
  • Use Warehouse Management Software to pick outgoing parcel and LTL orders
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each ESSENTIAL DUTY satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions listed above
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience: 1 or more years experience in a Warehouse pick/pack environment
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret charts.
Hours are 7:30am-4pm, Mon through Friday. Pay rate is $16-$17.00/ hour. APPLY TODAY
