What you’ll be responsible for:

The Sr. Credentialing/Licensing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day functions within the internal credentialing and licensing processes including, ensuring applications are submitted accurately and efficiently, relationship management, and training and coaching when needed. The Sr. Credentialing/Licensing Manager will work alongside the Sr. Director in developing and deploying new processes and performance improvement initiatives. As leader of the credentialing and licensing teams the Sr. Credentialing/Licensing Manager is responsible for ensuring that internal privileges and licenses are on-boarded in a timely and accurate manner and recredentialing and licensing renewals do not lapse. A portion of the responsibilities of this position is to coordinate with CLP and Service Line leaders to ensure that appropriate priorities are established, and escalations are communicated timely.


What you’ll work on:

  • Monitor and manage the internal credentialing and licensing staff and teams’ performances
  • Train and supervise employees, to include prioritizing, organizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Participate in credentialing, re-credentialing, and licensing activities
  • Ensure the quality of provider credentialing files and credentialing database has current and accurate information
  • Ensure that Access TeleCare Credentialing is adhering to Joint Commission compliance and Access Telecare Medical Staff Bylaws and policies
  • Prepare Credentialing Listings for Adverse Committee and MEC
  • Provide training to employees in areas of need that are identified through the audit process
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all credentialing processes
  • Maintain professional communication with both internal and external customers
  • Correspond with providers as needed to obtain information in a professional manner
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all provider files
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Contractors, Licensing boards, physicians, internal department leaders)
  • Communicates with boards regarding licensure qualifications and specific licensing questions and updates state profiles accordingly
  • Work with leadership to determine appropriate prioritization of requests and ensure the team is appropriately focused on priorities.
  • Report status updates to leadership with high degree of accuracy and frequency
  • Review provider applications for accuracy and identify error trends and opportunities for staff training
  • Monitor state licensure and DEA requirements for changes
  • Effectively manage data, reports and dashboards
  • Other duties as assigned


What you’ll bring to Access TeleCare:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the areas of Credentialing, Licensing and/or Privileging
  • Experience leading a team to achieve business goals in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlines
  • Ability to effectively lead meetings that are productive, set appropriate tasks and report feedback on all activities
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills a must
  • Requires ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain timely records
  • Requires ability to maintain strong working relationships within and outside of the organization
  • Must be a self-starter, energetic, organized, & thrive in a fast paced & changing environment
  • Ability to balance multiple projects concurrently, follow through and focus on details
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and web-based Accounts
