Since 1970, Hale Kipa has championed Hawai'i's youth and children. We provide youth outreach, independent living facilities, therapeutic foster care, a haven for runaways, and more. Our founders recognized a need for a nonprofit to step in to assist this deserving population and we are still doing that critical work today, on O'ahu, Kaua'i, and the Island of Hawai'i. Role Overview
As a full-time Case Manager at Hale Kipa, you will provide vital services to young adults transitioning out of homelessness in our Housing First Program. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of services including identifying eligible young adults, securing housing, providing case management, developing independent living and social skills, assisting with employment, vocational, and educational resources, and providing any other support necessary to facilitate a successful transition to the community. This role will also involve working closely with housing projects and other collaterals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as social work, psychology, sociology, or criminal justice
- At least one year of experience working with youth/young adults is required

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems
- Consistent and timely documentation
- A valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance & safety check

Salary
- $40,000/annual
