Location: Tampa, FL

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM

Pay Range: $20-$22 per hour


Our Client is seeking a Document Control Specialist responsible for managing company documents, ensuring accuracy, quality, and integrity. This role demands strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Store, manage, and track company documents
  • Scan, image, organize, and maintain documents according to document lifecycle procedures
  • Archive inactive records in compliance with records retention schedule
  • Control retrieval of documents and process requests for information
  • Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining documents such as minutes, drawings, specifications, and approvals
  • Train employees on records management procedures and policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and document control software
  • Familiarity with technology in an office environment
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to adapt quickly
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and troubleshoot effectively
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Experience providing excellent customer service
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities


Required Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in Document Control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and document control software is preferred
