Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWanzl North America is the largest Retail & Industrial Business Solution Provider for North America, and we are searching for a Facility Project Coordinator. 

Position Summary/Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate facilities, grounds, and infrastructure maintenance for Plants 1, 2, and 3 and Denver Corporate Offices and Distribution Center. Respond to applicable work order requests. Create and implement preventative maintenance schedules for building, grounds, safety inspections, and infrastructure. Manage outside contractors including but not limited to fire protection, roofing, HVAC, janitorial, and recycling contractors. Collaborate with project manager/s and coordinate minor renovations and office readiness for staff members. Participate in safety and environmental activities/projects. Test fire protection equipment, boiler, emergency lighting, and cooling water chemicals among others. Manage assigned projects. Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience/Certification/Licenses: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Prior experience in project management. Prior experience managing outside contractors. Project management degree preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in building, infrastructure, industrial/manufacturing maintenance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read, write and speak English is essential. Excellent communication skills; verbal and written. Knowledgeable in various Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, project management, maintenance management software. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, work independently, and give direction to others. Ability to create work instructions.

Personal Protective Equipment: Eye, Ear, Foot and Protective clothing must be worn at all times
