This OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a Specialist Project Coordinator to join ourEarth & Environment Teamserving strategic clients for multidiscipline projects across the region.

Thispositionwill be based in ourCharlotte, NC office. Other locations considered are Durham, NC, Wilmington, NC, Greensboro, NC, and Asheville, NC.

This position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced team providing solutions on environmental and engineering projects, primarily focused on the energy sector.

Your role could include involvement through all stages of a projects life cycle, while working closely with program, project, and technical managers.

Your ImpactSupport Project Managers and internal stakeholders in planning and executing projects, including project setup, project implementation, and closing as per WSPs Project Delivery proceduresAssist with developing and maintaining project Work Breakdown Structure and scheduleCoordinate logistics in support of project tasks including procurement, travel, and subcontractor managementTrack and monitor budget and expenditure under the guidance of Project ManagersInterface when necessary with the accounting team regarding client invoicing, payments, and the monthly project billing cycleTrack and manage compliance with requirements of quality management processes or plansCoordinate and document team communicationsCoordinate document delivery, updates, filing, and implement other control systemsVisible support resource for knowledge of WSP systems and protocolsProvide non-technical document review, proofreading for accuracy, completeness, compliance with corporate policies, formatting adherence, including grammar, punctuation, and spellingAssemble and ship project work plans, health and safety plans, and reports to various agencies and clientsWho You Are
Required Qualifications:7 or more years of relevant work experienceWell developed computer skills and experience with industry standard commercial computer software including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to junior team or project members, with strict adherence to completing daily activities according to work scheduleExcellent verbal skills with writing and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and ability to work both independently and within groupsEffective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a scientific and non-scientific audienceStrong problem-solving abilities, organization, and attention to detailUnderstanding the importance of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPs health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policiesPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with project documentation and submittals is a plus.
