Job description:
Performs a variety of purchasing duties. Maintains records and files pertinent to purchasing information.
Purchases routine, non-discretionary materials and supplies.
Compiles, records, and tracks pertinent purchasing data.
Compiles, records and tracks purchasing activities and pricing data.
Checks deliveries of material ordered and shipments received.
Within prescribed limits takes actions to ensure on-time delivery of material.
Coordinates return of rejected or unsuitable orders. Responds to requests for purchasing data and status of material activities.
What are the hard skills required for this role? Experience with purchasing and/or CMMS systems.
What are the "nice to have" skills? IBM Maximo, SAP/S4
Is there an education requirement for this role? Yes, Bachelors degree

What do the day-to-day tasks look like for this position?
Functioning as a materials buyer for the facilities team, taking material requests from the CMMS (Maximo) and getting pricing/quotes, routing workflow for approvals, making purchases, handing the workflow off to stockroom team for receiving.

What work schedule with the contractor be working: 9/80
Hours: Start time Flexible 05:00-07:00
