We are looking for a Sr. Project Manager, Planning and Landscape Architecture for our Austin office.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

The Sr. Project Manager plays a crucial role in project and client relationship management, ensuring overall satisfaction within their business unit. They oversee the accurate and timely execution of projects, manage financial aspects, and lead Senior Discipline Leads and subordinates. Additionally, the Sr. Project Manager takes charge of developing and implementing sales and strategic plans.

Once selected to join our team, you will:

  • Oversee multiple and multi-discipline projects, fostering and maintaining client relationships
  • Manage large and intricate projects with necessary oversight
  • Be responsible for structural design, ensuring continuity throughout the load path and meticulous detailing in alignment with design intent
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC processes for all projects, serving as a QA/QC resource within their expertise
  • Ensure accuracy and timely scheduling for all managed projects, supporting direct reports in achieving their project schedules
  • Achieve Dunaway's KPIs on managed projects and support direct reports in meeting your project KPI goals
  • Preparation of proposals
  • Manages multiple staff, oversees employee performance, and actively supports employee development
  • Assist in the strategic planning and execution of plans for the Line of Business
  • Execute the sales plan for the Line of Business
  • Other duties as assigned

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrates expertise in adhering to Dunaway’s established CAD guidelines and practices.
  • Has a deep understanding of the specific CAD standards related to PLA (Project Landscape Architecture) within Dunaway.

SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of progressive landscape design experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the business line and AEC industry project disciplines
  • Advanced cost estimation skills for technical tasks
  • Proficient in successfully delivering project requirements
  • Expertise in managing project financial performance metrics aligned with company goals
  • Capable of handling multi-discipline and concurrent projects
  • Effective relationship management within the organization
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to strategically develop and execute business objectives
  • Initiative-driven with a talent for team management and motivation

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture or 15 years of relevant landscape design experience
  • Licensed as a Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) in the state of Texas
