Job Title: Landscape Construction Crew Member

Our mission is to achieve ecological restoration and sustainability, while building community growth through landscape design and ecological education.

Job Summary:

All Landscape Construction Crew Members are responsible for collaborating with other team members on all aspects of a project. Experience is a plus, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidates.

We are looking for people who can:

  • Easily move dirt and large heavy loads with a wheelbarrow
  • Easily lift 100 lbs
  • Repeatedly bend, kneel, crouch, squat, push, pull, and walk
  • Successfully work outdoors in extreme heat and cold
  • Learn quickly and problem solve easily
  • Maintain a professional attitude with both teammates and customers
  • Communicate easily with a variety of individuals
  • Offer a helping hand whenever needed
  • Arrive to work on time and ready to go
  • Practice safe working habits at all times

Here's some the things you'll get to work on:

Hardscape projects using steel, concrete, and natural materials

Tree trimming

Creek Restoration, erosion control, and invasive species removal

Irrigation, fencing, lighting, and drainage installation

Installing native plantings

Controlled burns and land management across the Central Texas region

Requirements:

Level of Education: High School Graduate or GED

Skills:

Experience in - landscaping, construction, masonry, steel welding, arborist work, carpentry, or irrigation (Not necessary, but a definite plus)

Basic English (Not necessary, but a definite plus)

Work Environment:

Outdoors

Required qualifications:
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • 18 years or older
Preferred qualifications:
  • 1+ year of experience in the construction industry
  • At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
  • Valid driver's license
  • Access to personal devices for work: smartphone - any type
  • Construction skills: operating handheld tools
  • Able to work in an environment with high temperatures
  • Able to stand for duration of shift
  • Able to comfortably lift 100+ lbs
  • Willing to travel in state
