Job Title: Weld Cell Operator

Shift: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: $20/hr - $30/hr

Location: Shelby Township, MI


Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the welding cell equipment.
  • Visual inspection of welded components.
  • Operate and observe robots to detect malfunctions or non conformances.
  • Responsible for making sure they hit daily production goals, as well as handling the flow of material to and from the assembly equipment.
  • Partner with maintenance staff to define proper preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Follow defined weld schedules.
  • Collaborates with programmers and internal staff to develop and test new or modified systems.
  • Collects and analyzes data regarding efficiency and timeliness of production.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, or GED
  • 2 years of experience in production welding
  • Manual Mig Welding Experience
  • Robotic Welding experience
