You’ll love coming to work every day if you can:

  • Safely operate construction hand tools.
  • Handle and move various construction materials.
  • Operate heavy equipment: skid steers, off-road dump trucks, front-end loaders, backhoes, trackhoes, excavators, and/or bulldozers.

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following:

  • Have experience with underground water, sewer, or storm utilities
  • Have experience as a Pipe Layer, Tailman, Hillman, or Equipment Operator
  • Work with a diverse group of people to achieve a common goal
  • Demonstrate knowledge of proper, safe use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in the heavy construction industry
  • Effectively communicate skills to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions
  • Show responsibility for job site safety
  • Have reliable transportation – are willing to commute to job sites throughout northeast Florida (within 40 miles of Jacksonville)
  • Work 40-50 hours per week – Saturdays as necessary. Overtime is likely, but not guaranteed.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
  • Monthly safety bonuses and performance incentives
  • Health Insurance – 90% of premiums paid for employees
  • Dental, Vision, short/long term life insurance
  • $15,000 employer paid life insurance
  • 401 (K) with 100% match on 4% of wage contributions
  • 18 days of paid time off per year – 12 days of PTO and 6 paid holidays
