The Building Manager is responsible for overseeing routine maintenance and repairs, coordinating with third-party service providers, and responding to tenant inquiries to ensure the building remains in excellent condition. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field is beneficial.
- BOMA Certified Manager of Commercial Properties (CMCP) is beneficial.
- 3-5 years of building manager experience is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and oversee routine building maintenance and repairs to ensure the building remains in excellent condition.
- Liaise with third-party service providers to schedule and supervise maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality work.
- Respond to inquiries and requests from building tenants promptly and professionally, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Report daily renovation activities and issues to management for transparency and efficient decision-making.
- Provide occupants with updates on electrical, water, and other service outages and coordinate scheduled shutdowns to minimize disruptions.
- Develop and implement facility emergency plans to ensure the safety and well-being of building occupants in various emergency situations.
- Manage and direct cleaning, landscaping, and security staff and activities to maintain a clean, well-kept, and secure environment.
- Conduct regular building inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement, and prepare detailed reports for management review.
