critical role in achieving our strategic objectives. We are seeking an Engineering Detailer to help

make the Engineering team more productive, efficient, and robust. As a member of this team,

you will have opportunity to express ideas and grow your knowledge of design and

manufacturing. Primary responsibilities will be 3D modeling and print detailing, as well as

product design. This role is based in Troy, MI.

In this role you will get to:
  • Complete 3D modeling and 2D CAD designs (e.g., sheet metal, system assemblies, wiring diagrams)
  • Revise and update engineering documents
  • Development of new product design and existing product customization
  • Enter engineering change notices, and complete other engineering documentation tasks as required


Job Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Technical Design, or Drafting
  • 3 years of work experience in SolidWorks (SW Professional Certification or higher, or job experience)
  • 3 years of work experience in 2D drafting (AutoCAD or equivalent)

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year of work experience with electronics or electrical systems
  • 1 year of work experience with mechanical systems
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially in MS Word and Excel).
  • Must be organized and be able to multi-task.
  • Strong ability to quickly establish rapport and develop win/win solutions.
  • Strong ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and understanding of basic electrical/mechanical systems
