DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Counter Clerk. As a family-owned staffing company, we are committed to finding quality employment candidates and matching their talents to our clients' needs. In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties, providing customer service at the counter, and maintaining inventory records. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the counter, providing information and processing transactions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and counter area, including removing trash
  • Performing bank runs
  • Perform tasks in the warehouse, such as cutting gaskets

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in the shipyard industry is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in mechanical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficient computer skills, including inventory management software
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
