Pine Haven Christian Communities has been serving Sheboygan County seniors since 1950. We have grown into three campuses offering innovative and compassionate care and services.

Our mission is to offer an environment that is Christ–centered, a safe haven offering quality, compassionate care.

We have Full time and part time openings on multiple shifts. 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am)


Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care and support to residents based on their individual needs and care plans
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation.
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for residents, families, and team members.
  • Address Resident needs with respect and attention to safety
  • Attend and participate in required training, conducted at time of hire and/or annually, that will include training designed to assure resident safety: i.e. fire safety, missing resident, evacuations, disaster response, etc.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in caregiving or working with seniors preferred, but not required. We train
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
  • Maintain good attendance, including timely arrival
  • Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills required
  • Must comply with Pine Haven’s policies
  • Understands, supports, and is committed to Pine Haven’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must pass background check and drug / TB screening
