Greetings,

Our manufacturing client is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative. This is a fulltime, direct hire employee, position in Addison, IL with competitive compensation, generous benefits and career growth opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
  • Works with planning and production to provide production status to customer
  • Respond to customer inquiries and request for quotes
  • Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
  • Works closely with the accounting department to resolve disputed items and returns.
  • Provides timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns. Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be a team player as measured by his/her peers
  • Interact with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
  • Provide pricing and delivery information as required
  • Set up new customer accounts
  • Process orders, forms, applications and requests
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
  • Manage customers' accounts
  • Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints
  • Prepare and distribute customer activity reports
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Perform customer account analysis win/ loss tracking
  • Other projects as assigned.

What you need to bring to this winning team:

  • 2-5 years of progressive experience as a customer service or sales agent in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using an ERP system

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
