We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Inventory Control Supervisor. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate reporting of inventory as well as maintaining and tracking purchases for the company, effectively managing the inventory with the goal of reducing average investment in inventory.

The Inventory Control Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining the balance between supply and demand, optimizing inventory investment, and supporting the company's operational goals through effective inventory management practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage processes and procedures to optimize inventory control for all Budderfly core solutions.
  • Maintain and ensure product levels are adequate to satisfy demand to fulfill customer sites to support the operations teams.
  • Accurate entry of daily purchase order receipts while collaborating with procurement team for outstanding purchase orders.
  • Detailed purchase order receiving documentation for inbound damage and freight claim reporting/tracking.
  • Damage tracking and claim processing for all Budderfly core solutions.
  • Accurate validation, receipt entry, reporting, and documentation for return material authorizations.
  • Planning, execution, reconciliation, and reporting of the yearly physical inventory leading a team while being onsite and overseeing the process start to finish.
  • Develop and execute a rotating schedule to complete routine cycle counts of inventory for all Budderfly core solutions.
  • Track drop shipments and special-order product information, collaborating with both the procurement and fulfillment teams when received.
  • Develop processes to provide reporting for items below safety stock levels, collaborating with the procurement team to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Complete transfer processes for all consignment locations.
  • Maintain a log and compile reports for all inventory adjustments.
  • Additional duties as required.

  • Ability to work shifts of at least (8) hour days, occasionally longer, (5) days per week.

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and car.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.

  • Maintain and promote a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Ability to develop SoPs for inventory practices.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of inventory management experience
  • 3-5 years of receiving experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a purchasing manager or agent.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management with logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience using procurement software and databases.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience.
Compensation$28—$32 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
