We have a Saturday and Sunday 6am to 10pm- This is every weekend and we add an 8-hr Baylor shift if you work the two doubles
We also have a Mon, Tues, Thurs 6am to 2pm and Tuesday 2pm to 10pm
Hilton East is an assisted living facility offering a work environment that allows our LPN's to work at a manageable and sustainable work pace and cadence. The level of care is less acute and rigorous, promoting a healthier work dynamic for our staff and patients. Our culture is rooted in teamwork and compassion, always keeping the patient at the center of what we do.
The Licensed Practical Nurse’s primary responsibilities are making sure that our residents are receiving proper care and overseeing the personal care staff on the floor during their shift. This involves making sure the HHA’s are following the care plans set up by the resident’s physician or nurse. All employees are responsible for “assisting” residents with normal daily living activities.
Job duties:
- Timely and efficient documentation of any resident issues, concerns, and follow through.
- Assist with In-service and education for all Personal Care staff.
- Insulin injections and BG Checks
- Maintaining compliancy at all times.
- Employee evaluations and skills assessments as needed.
- Any task requested by your Manager.
- Communicating with residents physicians and family members as needed
Supervisory Duties:
- Supervision and communication of HHA’s.
- Attend all Supervisor and Managers meetings.
- Attend all HHA meetings
- Make sure aides sign for all care.
- Follow up on aide complaints.
- Must stay until appropriate coverage is in facility

- $2,500 Sign on Bonus paid over 6 months

Intellectual Requirements:
- Must be responsible, consistent and able to meet commitments and dead-lines.
- Must have good judgment and know when additional assistance is required.

- Must be able to delegate.
Social Requirements:
- Good communication skills are necessary, if you are not a people person; this job is not a good match for you.
- Must be able to treat people who need assistance with kindness and respect, regardless of the patient’s mood or your mood.
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- MUST work well with all people and maintain a professional and mature attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform physical activity that require moving ones whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, bending and pushing, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials.
- Employees must not have any weight restrictions, to avoid injury.
Technology Requirements:
- Must have basic understanding of computers.
- Must have basic understanding of Microsoft Office Programs.
Compliance Requirements:
- Must have New York State Nursing License .
- Must have Valid NYS Drivers license
- Must have documentation of MMR’s (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, showing an immune result.)
- Must have current Physical (within 30 days of employment) .
- Must have current PPD test with a negative result.
