We are seeking someone with great ethics and values as well as high energy and excellent problem-solving skills to join our team as a COMMERCIAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN for the surrounding Pittsburgh, PA areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency to do the right thing. You will be part of a fantastic team that is responsible for responding to water, fire, mold, and bio-hazard damaged commercial facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, inspect, and complete tasks for restoration jobs to ensure completion of drying, demolition, and various restoration activities.
- Prepare documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.
- Retrieve work orders, check route for travel, ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on the truck needed for the job, and arrive to work site on time.
- Complete assigned jobs according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job.
- Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles, and products are properly handled.
- Perform daily monitoring and tasks on assigned jobs to commercial customers with urgency.
- Make daily adjustments to the drying plan based on meter readings.
- Additional duties required as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Be committed to 24/7 restoration cycle, including on-call rotation.
- Move up to 50 lbs. by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling objects and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- May encounter a variety of worksite conditions, due to the nature of the work. Every effort is made to protect our employees through PPE and other safety precautions.
- Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
