Position Summary: Seeking a skilled and motivated RPA Developer to join our IT Software Development Services (ITSS) team. As a RPA Developer will have experience in RPA development, SQL, API integration, and automation analysis. This role requires strong communication, collaboration abilities, and a good understanding of compliance standards and troubleshooting techniques. The RPA Developer will contribute to the creation and management of RPA solutions, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and providing insightful analysis to support organizational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize RPA tools such as UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate Desktop to automate manual processes, enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Design and implement Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes using tools like Microsoft SSIS and Hitachi Pentaho. Develop and manage ETL jobs to integrate data from various sources, applying transformations and conditional logic to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

  • Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures, incorporating advanced techniques such as permissioning, indexing, and managing data relationships. Develop and document comprehensive Data Dictionaries to support system integrity and usability.

  • Analyze requirements or existing business processes and make recommendations on how to design bots to perform those processes efficiently. Provide detailed documentation on bot design and functionality.

  • Create attended and unattended bot solutions, including chatbots and APIs that can trigger bots. Ensure bots are properly cataloged and organized by function or business area.

  • Administer RPA tool environments, conduct periodic analysis of bot usage to determine licensing needs and potential infrastructure changes.

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all bot solutions, including overall functionality, dependencies, and business value.

  • Lead and facilitate meetings to educate staff on new developments or features in the RPA space, providing structured agendas and live demonstrations.

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues using advanced tools to debug and analyze data, ensuring the reliability and performance of RPA solutions.

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to refine and iterate on RPA solutions. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders to clarify and articulate application design and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in IT or software development.

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in RPA development using UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate.

  • Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and stored procedures, as well as API integration and utilization.

  • Experience in designing, modeling, and organizing database schemas to support automation processes.

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate business processes and design efficient automation solutions.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders, both internal and external.

  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and understanding of Agile principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in using troubleshooting and debugging tools to resolve technical issues.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

  • Relevant certifications in RPA tools (UiPath, Power Automate) are desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $106,500 to $149,475 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
