We are seeking a part time experienced construction estimator with at least 2 yrs. experience to join our team. As an Assistant Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed estimates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, a thorough understanding of project management principles.

Responsibilities:

Estimate and Proposal Preparation:
  • Prepare estimates and proposals based off on-site renovations and/or plans.
  • Conduct takeoffs from plans, review proposals and scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
  • Manage all relevant documents to ensure proper tracking and accessibility
  • Conduct site visits and walk-throughs with clients and subcontractors to understand existing site conditions.
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis for estimating purposes.

Qualifications:


  • Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications.
  • Experience in preparing takeoffs.
  • Excellent document management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project estimation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
