Summary:
The Exacta Manager, Tech Operations will be responsible for a variety of technical operational tasks and takes accountability for the process/function from beginning to end in our Wyoming market. This role provides excellent customer support, on-site training, support of customer initiatives, assists in onsite quality assurance testing, maintenance of Exacta’s system and connected peripherals, documentation of plans and solutions, leadership and training to a team of Technical Support Specialists, and escalates issues to other departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize, plan, administer, and maintain all facets of new game terminals installations and game updates to customer sites whenever necessary and ensuring that installation targets are met.
- Supervise hiring, recruiting, and training needs for tech team in conjunction with State Director and Director of Field Services.
- Oversee and manage teams who are responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing terminals and major components, including scheduling.
- Interface with customers and operations to assure all software and hardware equipment is tested, compliant and deployed in good working order, prior to going live.
- Support customers and effectively troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Manage helpdesk portal and escalate issues to the proper channels.
- Use and continually develop leadership skills.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in technical field or related work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a gaming operations role.
- Knowledge of gaming operations, hardware, systems, and basic electronics a plus.
- Demonstrate technical skills including gaming machine repair, basic computer networking, and software administration.
- Strong written, documentation, and oral communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently or in groups and take the lead when required.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize as required.

Work Environment:
Fast paced environment requiring normal movement around and between geographic facilities. Position requires to be licensed by the proper racing and/or gaming authorities within the region. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, able to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some travel may be required within Wyoming and out-of-state, as the workloads dictate. Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
