MES ENGINEER - ENTRY-LEVEL

(INDUSTRIAL INFORMATION AND OPERATIONS TECHNOLOGY)

Proconex is expanding our capabilities in manufacturing digital transformation. This role is best suited to entry-level to early career engineers who have an interest in manufacturing automation.

SUMMARY

MES Engineers implement, configure, test, and support advanced manufacturing execution systems, in this case the Emerson Syncade MES (manufacturing execution systems).

• You will receive training at an Emerson Syncade bootcamp the last weeks in July at the Texas learning center
• Learn MES design, development, testing and implementation within life sciences (biopharmaceutical) environments.
• Interact with customer authors to map manufacturing processes for process automation.
• Configure electronic batch records (EBRs) to interact with pumps, scales, bioreactors, and other equipment at manufacturing sites.
• Implement patches and hotfixes to Emerson Syncade MES (manufacturing execution systems) at life sciences companies.

REQUIREMENTS

• Someone who is organized with great attention to detail who is interested in life sciences manufacturing.
• Able to interface with chemical engineers and IT staff at clients and learn their processes to convert to recipes.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• Interest in implementation of industrial IT systems such as MES (manufacturing execution systems) and enterprise level data analytics / operational intelligence software.
• Interest in cell and gene therapy production, single-use technologies, and IIoT integrated cGMP environments is desirable.
• Exposure to manufacturing systems, especially an internship or co-op at any manufacturing site is highly desirable.
