About You

As a Business Analyst III, you are critical in ensuring our data processes and data architecture are optimized to align with business area and enterprise needs to provide the highest-quality solutions. This is a hybrid role with the successful candidate working in our Austin headquarters up to three days a week.

A Typical Day

  • Collaborate with various business areas and teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements. Ensure that requirements are clearly articulated, understood, and documented.
  • Analyze current business processes, workflows, and dataflows to identify areas for improvement and work with the Enterprise Data Team to recommend data solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, data flows, use cases, and test plans.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of products.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Team to ensure that requirements and flows provide the data needed to help business areas and the organization achieve their goals and gather further insights.
  • Work with the Enterprise Data Team to help design and implement data solutions that meet business requirements. Ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and are scalable.
  • Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on data, business requirements, and technical specifications.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the QA process. Implement best practices and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA function.

Skills For Success

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Quality Assurance role.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), or relevant QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in QA tools and methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies,
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA).
  • Experience in finance, data, or technology is highly desirable.
