Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst to join our client’s banking team. You will participate in project work, including analysis, documentation and requirement gathering. The BA will assist in the modernization of the Portfolio Checkup interface on the client’s website which will involve working with development teams and defining requirements for a complex financial product.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements. Conduct detailed analysis to define clear and concise requirements for IT and operations teams.
Process Improvement: Evaluate and recommend improvements to business processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with banking regulations.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure that project objectives are met. Facilitate effective communication and manage stakeholder expectations.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to support business decision-making. Provide insights that drive improvements in customer experience, cost efficiency, and revenue generation.
Project Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation including business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, and test cases.
Risk & Compliance: Work closely with risk management and compliance teams to ensure all banking processes adhere to regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and other industry standards.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and support UAT, ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are delivered with quality.
Training & Support: Assist in the creation of training materials and provide post-implementation support to end users.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner.
Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, Basel III).
Experience working with Agile and Scrum methoologies
Experienced with JIRA, Confluence, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fintech and specifically investing experience is highly desired
?The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
