Qualifications:

  • Experience: Preferred minimum of 1+ year in a public accounting firm.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, QuickBooks, and general computer skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Korean.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accountability and meticulousness.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and supportive in a team environment.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Availability: Willing to work overtime during busy tax seasons and as needed throughout the year.

  • Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced workflow without sacrificing accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for multiple states.
  • Tax Returns: File quarterly and annual payroll tax returns for various states.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll issues with effective action plans.
  • Government Notices: Follow up on government notices and find necessary resolutions.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bookkeeping: Enter data for monthly bank and credit card transactions.
  • Reconciliations: Conduct monthly reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
