The Clinical Care Technician (CCT) provides essential clinical and administrative support to the healthcare team, ensuring high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care:
    • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
    • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
    • Assist in patient positioning, transferring, and ambulation.
    • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
  • Clinical Support:
    • Perform basic clinical procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, and specimen collection.
    • Assist with medical examinations and minor surgical procedures.
    • Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies.
    • Follow infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
  • Documentation:
    • Accurately document patient care activities, vital signs, and clinical data in electronic health records (EHR).
    • Report changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
    • Relay information between patients, nurses, and physicians to ensure coordinated care.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and problem-solving.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a clinical healthcare setting preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program or similar healthcare training program.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Clinical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of basic patient care activities and clinical procedures.
    • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately monitor and record patient data.
    • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving patients, and standing for long periods.
