  • Understand and carry out radiology requisitions and views.
  • Utilize equipment producing ionizing radiation to obtain radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
  • Memorize the view each physician required on exams.
  • Assist patients in getting into the positions required to retrieve the needed radiographs.
Radiology Technologist’s Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited two-year radiology or equivalent military program is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
  • Essential knowledge of PACS and radiographic techniques is required.
  • A Valid and Current Driver’s License is required.
  • Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and time management skills are required.
