- Oversees landscape maintenance, enhancements and snow seasons from prep, production, billing, and Customer satisfaction
- Ensures landscape maintenance, enhancements, and snow account renewals through timely and quality performance
- Responsible for inspecting properties and ensuring that quality is met at all times
- Develops, clarifies, and defines all work standards; Identifies, develops, and implements needed systems and procedures for continued improvement
- Serve as a member of senior management leadership team.
- Manages customer relationships to ensure continuous sales growth and excellent customer service
- Maintains continuous communication with internal and external contacts and participates in meetings and other companywide initiatives as needed
- Oversees weekly Production Meetings and performs weekly One-On-Ones with Operations Managers, Operations Administration and Mechanics
- Oversees damage repairs of customer and company property, vehicles, equipment, and machinery while monitoring cost and efficiency
- Performs snow removal duties if needed during snow season while ensuring proper safety procedures
- Responsible for answering questions to customers that relate to various topics of landscape management, snow removal, and enhancements. Ability and knowledge to identify various plants, shrubs, and other herbaceous plants as well as weeds, pests, insects, diseases, moss, and plant disorders to be able to answer customer’s and employee’s questions
- Complies with company safety policy at all times and ensures that all maintenance, installation, and snow removal tools are used according to company safety policy and manufacturers recommendations while ensuring that staff members follow same procedures at all times
- Responsible for operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment while following safety and operator’s manual guidelines
- Monitors and analyzes the financial performance of landscape projects to ensure timeliness, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Reviews efficiencies, job costing and purchasing
- Assists President with all foresight, planning, development, and strategy
- Assists in yearly operating budget process and monitors accounts monthly, Reviews monthly P&L
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
- Must be able to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
- 10 plus years in commercial landscape with a focus on maintenance.
- College degree required; horticultural degree preferred.
