Job Title: Senior Investment Director

Job Summary: The Senior Investment Director will oversee and lead the organization's investment strategy and activities, focusing on high-impact investment opportunities and portfolio management. This executive role involves developing and executing complex investment strategies, managing large-scale investment projects, and providing strategic guidance to senior leadership to enhance the organization's investment performance and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute advanced investment strategies that align with the organization's long-term objectives, including asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio optimization.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of high-value investment opportunities, such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and financial analysis on potential investments, including market research, financial modeling, and risk assessment, to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee the management of the investment portfolio, including monitoring performance, managing risks, and making strategic recommendations for adjustments.
  • Prepare and present detailed investment reports, strategic recommendations, and performance analyses to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Collaborate with senior executives and other departments to ensure investment strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and support corporate growth initiatives.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to ensure investment strategies are innovative and effective.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key investment partners, advisors, and stakeholders to facilitate investment opportunities and strategic alliances.
  • Ensure compliance with investment regulations, policies, and industry best practices, and implement robust controls and procedures.
  • Mentor and lead a team of investment professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality investment analysis and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in investment management, private equity, venture capital, or a related field, with at least 7-10 years in a senior management or director-level role.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing complex investment strategies, conducting due diligence, and managing investment portfolios.
  • Proficiency with investment management software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, financial modeling software) and advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying and executing high-impact investment opportunities and managing large-scale investment projects.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting investment strategies, performance analyses, and recommendations to senior executives and the board of directors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, including experience in leading and developing high-performing investment teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment regulations, industry trends, and best practices in investment management.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
