- Perform inspection and test as necessary to determine cause of defective electronic assemblies with instruction.&
- Document and maintain records relating to work performed.&
- Inform supervisor of process or design problems and assist in the corrective action.&
- Conduct manual test of electronic circuits and PCBs according to engineering instructions.&
- Communicate with others in a professional and effective manner.&
- Update test documentation when required for prototype products.&
- Provide training to less experienced technicians when required.&
- Perform other associated tasks as required from their supervisor and manager.&
Required Education:&
- A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience&
Required Skills:&
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments and vendors&
- Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing&
- Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause&
- Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.&
- Ability to read basic engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams&
- Ability to comprehend product/process component datasheets&
- Ability to assemble and disassemble products&
- Ability to maintain lab equipment&
- Ability to perform basic mechanical work&
- Ability to work with minimal supervision&
